01About

Sensate Interface Designs Pvt. Ltd. provides healthcare technology solutions mainly using Machine Learning applications. Sensate Interface Devices Pvt. Ltd. is henceforth referred to as “Sensate”. Here we seek to build a complete patient monitoring system aimed at Indian Hospitals and Home Care, along with a Made In India Class B Certified device that can fetch the data for the same aimed at reducing the overall cost of ownership. This document tries to capture the scope of the project with rough estimate of deliverables for the same.   Scope & Analysis We are developing a vitals management solution that: - Is mostly aimed at recovering, aged or young people who may need medical attention either at a medical center or in home settings. This should facilitate tele-medicine care at rural India, possibly through PM-JAY scheme. - Made in India and reasonably priced. The solution contains the following parts: • Monitoring Appliance, typically a mobile phone sized portable unit. • Server-side components hosted on cloud for monitoring of patient vitals and uploading them to server even in case of low bandwidth with real-time alerts using machine learning. Monitor Appliance This is a medical-grade patient monitoring system like what is used in the hospital settings. The Bed Side Components include the actual sensors as well as the base-station. Sensors A wireless sensor tag will be attached to the patient’s body, and the battery life can sustain for the whole recovering period without recharging, and the patient does not need to take the tag off while asleep or taking a shower. Optionally this can be used to control a PTZ camera though USB. The following vital signs will be measured in Phase-1 and the doctor can view these parameters over the Internet. 1. Body temperature 2. Peripheral capillary oxygen saturation (SpO2/pulse oximetry) 3. Heart rate and heart-rate variability (HRV) 4. Respiration rate (based on impedance pneumography) 5. Electrocardiography (ECG)
