After successful stints with some of the finest Pharma majors, Venkat co-founded GARPHI BIOSCIENCES PVT. LTD. in the year 2007. GARPHI, over the passage of 12 years has developed into a multi-disciplinary Pharmaceutical & Biotech consultancy with Global footprints. Garphi specializes in rendering a full range of strategic advisory services pertaining to Licensing, Tech-Transfer, Contract R&D, Co-development, Divestitures, M&As etc. to many leading companies in India and overseas . Venkat has personally overseen & executed a variety of deals & contracts in licensing, mergers & acquisitions, contract R&D, market entry & divestments, contract manufacturing, strategy & business development, clinical development, technical collaborations & alliances in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Having managed & run varied projects for close to three decades, he along with his team of veterans offer an in-depth & integrated industry insight and expertise across the development and commercialization value chain in Pharma & Biotech . Well-networked and travelled to 80 plus countries, Venkat possesses a strong operational and techno-commercial expertise in deal-making and has been on both sides of the negotiation table in several multi-million dollar global deals and transactions across continents. Venkat is also a board member & advisor to a many Life Science companies in India and abroad. A "Notable BITS Alumni " he serves on the boards of "TiE- Hyderabad" and " ABLE India" and is also actively associated with many angel networks, industry associations and Professional societies in India and abroad . His Angel Investments are focussed in AI, Medtech, Pharma, technology and new age businesses.
