Srini Koppolu is a seasoned technology leader and angel investor with over 21 years of experience in developing innovative products, driving global R&D initiatives, and building large-scale organizations. He spent 21 years at Microsoft, including 9 years at the Redmond headquarters leading R&D for Windows and Office, and 12 years in India establishing the Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC)—growing it into Microsoft’s largest product development hub outside the US with 1,600+ employees. He holds more than 20 global patents. Post-Microsoft, Srini became a prominent angel investor, co-founding the Hyderabad Angel Network and investing in startups including MedPlus, which grew into India’s leading pharmacy chain and went public in 2021. He has also advised and mentored nonprofits like DigitalEquity and Youth4Jobs, and served as Chairman of the International School of Hyderabad advisory board.
