Jayaram Valliyur is a technology leader passionate about building innovative products and scaling high-performing global teams. With a proven track record of solving complex business and technical problems, he has delivered impactful solutions to customers worldwide. At present, Jayaram is part of Uber’s Core Technology team and serves as the global engineering leader for three critical areas: FinTech, Customer Obsession (omnichannel support experiences), and Trip Operations Platform. He also contributes as a member of Uber’s India leadership team, driving strategy and growth for the India Development Centre. Previously, Jayaram bootstrapped and scaled Amazon’s Hyderabad Development Centre, which went on to become Amazon’s largest hub outside Seattle. At Amazon, he led cross-functional product development teams of more than 600 engineers across mission-critical domains including Transportation, New Seller Success, VAT, and Identity Verification. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership roles across K–12 educational publishing, supply chain, database marketing, and retail banking. Known for thriving in entrepreneurial environments, Jayaram specialises in building high-performing product teams, driving organisational innovation, and leading new product development from concept to scale.
