With more than a two-decade long career centered around Corporate Strategy, Investments and Business building, Amit has been actively engaged in multiple industries including Pulp & Paper, Textiles, Agribusiness, Renewable Energy, and Financial Services. As an executive Board Member of the LNB Group, he strives towards getting the group to continue with its century old legacy and strong inclusive ethos while preparing it to be relevant for the decades to come by incorporating new age business possibilities which complement the Group’s focus on Sustainability. He has earlier worked at the Tata Group where he has the unique distinction of being among the youngest in the entire group to have successfully completed the Business Excellence Leadership Program (BELP) thereby qualifying as an external Assessor of the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) – an adaptation of the renowned Malcolm Baldrige Model. He was also nominated as the FIBRES Champion (Fact & Information Based Reverse Engineering of Strategy) during his stint at Tatas. Amit has served on the Committee(s) of industry and professional bodies including FICCI and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in various capacities from time to time. He is a member of Angel networks and serves on the Advisory Board of multiple Venture Capital Funds. He is also a member of YPO and TiE (Charter Member). Amit is a proud Alumni of St Xaviers College Kolkata and Harvard Business School.
